Little Bollington is a small, family orientated, primary school of just one hundred pupils. It is situated outside Altrincham and is served by Holy Trinity Church. Little Bollington joined the Chester Diocese Academy Trust family in May 2020 as a converter academy.
The school aims to provide an interesting and stimulating environment, which encourages pupils to develop a lifelong love of learning. Whilst placing emphasis on the basic skills of literacy and numeracy, they creatively combine these to deliver enriching, cross-curricular topics and experiences, which fully engage and involve the children. They are committed to learning through visits to experience things first hand and also to outdoor education – with all children having the opportunity for a residential visit each year as well as a thriving sports programme. The school family is committed to supporting and nurturing pupils so they develop academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Little Bollington aims to successfully set pupils on their journey to reach their full potential, enabling them to go out into the wider world as well as rounded, enthusiastic, ambitious young people.
